The Pacific Crest Trail crosses Highway 96 and the Klamath River apx 10 miles from Klamath River Resort Inn. The Inn has become a very popular staging point for many hikers on the trail. Some have chosen to begin at the Klamath River and spend the night before the trip at our Inn. Others have ended their trip at the Klamath River and spend the night (or two) at the Klamath River Resort Inn. |

On occasion hikers have showed up at the Inn looking for a hot shower and a clean bed for the night. Some have hiked, some have caught a ride with a passing car, and on one occasion, even floated down the river in a small raft. |
