From Interstate 5 |

Just north of Yreka, California is highway 96 (Klamath River Highway) - (AKA State of Jefferson Scenic Byway) Take Highway 96 West. The highway will travel along the Klamath River. 64 miles from Interstate 5 is Happy Camp. The resort is located apx. 2 miles before Happy Camp on the river side of the highway. The entrance driveway is a little difficult to see coming from this direction. You will be coming down a long steep grade. Begin slowing up after you pass Gordon's Ferry Road. About 7/10 of a mile after the sign below you will see the hotel/resort's entrance on the left. |

From 101 on the Coast |

Take highway 299 from highway 101 just north of Eureka/Arcata on California's coast. Apx 40 miles at Willow Creek take Highway 96 north (Bigfoot Scenic Byway) Happy Camp will be Apx 88 miles from Willow Creek. You will drive nearly the entire length along the scenic Klamath River. You will also pass through the Hoopa Indian Reservation. Pass through Happy Camp and the entrance of the resort will be apx 2 miles West on the river side. |
