Happy Camp and the Klamath River is actually relatively close to the Oregon Caves.  As the crow flies, it is just a few miles.  In the spring, the Gray Back Pass opens from Happy Camp over the Siskiyou Mountains to Cave Junction and the Oregon Caves.  (The pass is not snow plowed during the winter - Feel free to send us an email or call to ask if the pass has opened for the spring - Usually, someone will go up there with their big equiptment in March or April and open it up early - all depending on the weather...)

       
  There are a few known caves in the Happy Camp area - none are marked.  I am trying to compile a list.  The Marble Mountains have hundreds of caves.  Here is a link I found:
